Al Gore, HRH Prince Charles, and Leonardo DiCaprio have massive carbon footprints. But they think good thoughts about carbon, so they are allowed to live. Their “carbon thoughts multiplier” is low, which actually makes their CO2 less destructive to the climate.
School children who ride the bus to school may have a very low carbon footprint, but since their “carbon thoughts multiplier” is high, they need to be executed by their schoolteacher. It only makes sense.
James Hansen commutes 70 miles from central PA into Manhattan (despite it being submerged since 2008.) His carbon thoughts multiplier is possibly the best in the world, so his CO2 is completely harmless.
I ride my bicycle everywhere and have an extremely low carbon footprint. But my carbon thoughts multiplier is not looking good. How about you?
My carbon thoughts multiplier is very high I am afraid.
Even as I make my once a week ( sometimes twice) trek to the “office” and eking out 50mpg from my hybrid car, I cannot help thinking about striking up a nice hot fire ( It is miserable here in NJ) and turning on the home theater experience. ( turns out that 7 channel amps and subwoofers really spike the electricity bill) which is my current intent, having finished my tape capture and pronounced a returned DVD, DOA.
( yet more carbon/cash/energy and a day I won’t get back or paid for)
Multiplier not so good. I maintain 3 homes and commute 60 mi each day. I’m trying to help forestall the next ice age. I would like to produce more carbon, tho. I want to do my part. Perhaps I could tow a boat to work and back every day?
I’m thinking of eating Mexican tonight.
CO2 AND Methane, a two-fer .
I have two bikes, to cover all surfaces. Here, I can take the bike on the train and all railroads have been electrified for a century.
Despite of this, my carbon foot print is larger than all all these people combined because of my evil thoughts.
Supercharged Hemi burnout. There I said it.
My carbon multiplier thought for today is that EU carbon taxes should be means tested in the same manner speeding fines are assessed in some EU countries. The new €40 Euro carbon tax addition to cross Atlantic commercial flights for average citizens would be €400,000.00 Euro carbon tax for Prince Charles & Leonardo DiCaprio a seat on a commercial flight and €40,000,000.00 million Euro carbon tax per trip or more if they flew in their private jets.
When carbon taxes hit the elite as much as they hit the rest of the population I wonder how committed elites like Sir Richard Branson will be to CAGW, carbon taxes and Climate Justice on the eve of the launching of the luxury Virgin Galactic space flights?
