I coach one of my kid’s soccer teams. The league won’t let me referee his games though. They have this bizarre theory that I might not be objective. It isn’t that they consider me to be dishonest, but rather that they think I might suffer from confirmation bias. I might preferentially look for things which suit my agenda.
