Florida used to average about one hurricane per year, and now averages about one every other year. The ongoing stretch of non-hurricanes is the longest on record, and looks like it will extend into its eighth year.
This is completely consistent with climate model forecasts of more frequent and larger hurricanes.
But we have had unprecedented activity for all the fish at 40N and 40W!
The fish are more diligent about reporting than they used to be.
They’ve migrated north because of AGW, and been very busy breaking up ice in the Arctic.
If that damn whistleblower had only kept his mouth shut about Karl Rove’s hurricane machine…
