Labor Department Competing With USHCN For Top Fraud Position In Government

Obama has apparently been talking to his buddy Hugo about campaign strategy.

Truly shocking in the report was that the number of unemployed people dropped by 456,000 to  12.1 million.

Maybe more shocking, total employment, as measured by the Household Survey, rose by 873,000 in September to 142,974,000, the biggest one month jump since June 1983.

As such, total employment now stands at the highest level it’s been since December 2008 before Obama was inaugurated.

But even more mysterious is the divergence in the two surveys done by the Labor Department.

The Household Survey showed a gain of 873,000 people employed in September – resulting in the surprise drop in the unemployment rate – while the Establishment Survey only showed a rise of 114,000.

  1. There is an old saying “Lies, damn lies and statistics”. Nothing new here, move along.

How they managed this was to hire more teachers. 1 million more, in fact. http://suyts.wordpress.com/2012/10/05/oic-doing-it-like-the-eu-does/
I’ve got to say, this was clever. Who’s going to cry about 1 million more teachers on the government payroll? Not many. In the meantime the labor force contracted by 180,000 people, so that further dropped the unemployment rate. We lost real contributors and added 1million wealth extractors.

I don’t know who is going to when the race to the economic bottom, the US, or the Euro zone. It’s a very tight race.

If the Government can adjust temperatures up 2 or 3 degrees, what are a few hundred thousand new hamburger flipping jobs among friends? After squandering 5 trillion or so, you should at least expect a few new jobs.

George Orwell looking prophetic now isn’t he?

I’m wondering what the Household Survey has said going backwards. Who knows, maybe by now there are more people employed than there are people employed or maybe even people.
