Another big round of debate day greenie mocking on multi-million reader Instapundit:

“As with the anti-war left, whom they just declared tin-foil hat wearers, the Obama Campaign can trash their base because they’re cynically assuming there’s nowhere else for them to go….”

After the left breathed a sigh of relief that Biden did not come across as the fool, the truth filters out. Damn the alternate media! How dare they not jump on the talking points bandwagon and how dare they actually report the truth!

But in the end, it will matter not. The Veep debate really does not matter unless one goes Thomas Eagleton on live TV.

  3. gator69 says:

Biden misunderstood the venue, he thought it was a public mocking, instead of debate.

  4. Andy DC says:

Biden exceeded expectations. He didn’t drool and he didn’t have to be carried away by men in white coats. For him, that is a home run.

  5. John B., M.D. says:

Biden lied 3 times at the beginning.

    1) He claimed he voted against the 2nd Iraq and Afghanistan wars. He voted for the Afghanistan war.

    2) He also claimed no request for additional security was made for the Benghazi consulate. He must have missed the Congressional testimony from the day before where someone testified that he made requests, then Charlene Lamb rebutted the attempt by Dems to blame budget cuts for the security cuts, taking responsibility for making the decision on non-financial grounds.

    3) Biden claimed that intelligence officials started the narrative that it was an out-of-contol protest rather than a coordinated terrorism attack – only that at the tetimony the day before a witness wathced the entire attack unfold live and there was no mob and no protest before the attack. Also, anone who watched FNC on 9/12 (the day after) would have heard numerous intelligence reports that it was a terrorist attack. While FNC was covering the real story, the rest of the leftstream media was criticizing Romney for making a statement about the Cairo embassy statement – that the Obama Administration later had to disavow.
