The Complete List of Obama’s Taxpayer-Backed Green Energy Failures
Since the free market fails to account for external damage — that’s socialized, to the tune of at least $120,000,000,000/yr — the government has a right — in fact, a duty — to correct this.
So, these losses are trivial in comparison.
Ahh, good, so you approve bailing out the banks.
Totalling 10.2 trillion in case anyone wants to know, but what do the asterisks represent?
Trillion?? Bull shit.
Learn how to do basic arithmetic, and try again. Loser.
You are right. Sorry. Billion.
Bottomline is that Obama is a failure that doesn’t know what he is doing.
The asterisk denotes having filed for bankruptcy, the rest are swirling in a flushing toilet.
You should be a poet.
Thanks Will.
I see you finally got the decimal point in the right place. Exactly the amount that the US spends every 5 days on our military, for all our wars, past present and future. So that we, 5% of the world’s population, can consume 30% of its resources for our fat (becoming obese), dumb and happy life style.
So because we waste endless amounts of money fighting wars we shouldn’t be in and policing the world, we should also enrich Obama’s campaign contributors on green energy schemes that have no hope of working? This makes sense to you?
So let’s disband the military, and see how you enjoy life under the Chinese.
But the American constitution requires a military but not the Presidential branch handing out money to greenie cronies for propping up unwanted solar and wind mills.
This vaguely reminds me of the Nixon era “War on Cancer” where there was a huge funding increase on research that today is widely recognised as a failure. Or in other words, solving tough problems requires more than just throwing money at something. Coincidentally when I was revisiting this issue I discovered that Obama is currently replicating the Nixon strategy.
Heh. If anyone have brains, cancers had to do with widespread vitamin D deficiency. Whoever came up with Sun Scare belong to mental hospital… Even my old clinical nutrition book says that vitamin D is anti-cancer fighter but not much details unfortunately. Back in 1980s, pharma business knew about it and started working on it. Cost-wise, nothing beats free Vitamin D3 from the sun or dirt cheap OTC supplement… 20 bucks of 5000 IU pills a year…
I privately called it “statistical murder.” Then I realized some neocon was chatting about Economics.
Didn’t Obama say during the last debate he knows government doesn’t create jobs?
He must think that throwing away billions of dollars does.
He must be wrong. How many jobs do we create by throwing away a $trillion a year on all our military and militaristic adventures past and present?
Less than we will throw away trying to fix a non-problem called climate change.
While I agree America spends too much money on the military it is REQUIRED to fund one by the constitution.
The Soviet Union employed 100% of its work force. Although it did admittedly collapse economically.
so WTF is that supposed to mean?
Since you don’t know it says allot about you pHyescyst.
We’re only about seven bankruptcies away from total energy independence!
