Hopefully, the voters will see thru this. Remember Obama was not going to even deal with lobbyists? The lobbyist for the largest government employee union has been to the White House over 30 times. They are not exactly discouraging him.

In retrospect, perhaps defeating the Soviet Union was not a good thing after all. It looks as though the “Iron Curtain” was actually keeping the Socialist Commies on their side of it. Since its fall, they were all let loose to come over here and to western Europe and ruin what we had.
I think the Commies won. They were in hiding in our academic and environmentalist communities (among others) and now that the public thinks there is no danger anymore, the Commies, socialists, Neo-Marxists and Neo-Fascists* have come out of the woodwork like cockroaches.
*If anybody believes Fascists were right-wing or capitalists, you should sue to get some money back from where ever you received your education.Fascism is just another brand of totalitarian socialism.
You bring up a good point, but I think are a little off. They were always here. What the iron curtain did was make them personna non-grata to most in the West. No one wanted to live like that. But since no one does any longer, the communists are free to lie about their utopia, and the unthinking (versus stupid or ignorant – most are not either of the latter) lap it up because it “feels” good.

Ambassador Stevens was meeting with the Turkish Ambassador regarding Libyan weapons (surface-to-air missiles) shipments to Turkey. The CIA was trying to keep a low profile since they are involved.
Of course, if the intent was just to get MANPADS out of the hands of Libyan terrorists, one could simply destroy them, not ship them somewhere. Guess which country Turkey borders – Syria. Is the U.S. arming the Syrian rebels with Libyan missiles?

This is sounding more like what we did after the 1979 Russian invasion of Afghanistan plus Iran-Contra rather than Watergate, just that here we’re shipping Khadafi’s MANPADS through Turkey to the anti-Assad Syrian rebels. We better not hear of an airliner being brought down by a MANPAD in the hands of al Qaeda.
