Eric, I’m just telling you my experiences as someone who has lived in the south my entire life. I’m not talking about the 1960’s or the 50’s. I’m talking about now. The racist people I’ve known have little in common with the Democrats that I know in real life and online.
However, I do think white guilt is an issue. As terrible as slavery and all of that was, it’s not my fault. As I grow older I begin to understand that it’s hopeless to fret about things that you simply can’t or couldn’t control. But I think white guilt holds some people back from accepting that some of the policies they support simply aren’t good for society.

I won’t deny that most left/liberal/democrats may are outstanding people. I will say that few think very carefully about the current welfare/nanny state/federal debt/centralized authority that is being implemented by the top liberals/democrats in Washington ( I was one of them at one time :)) and where it will take us.

The most racist segment of our society are the blacks. It is part of their culture, and is not frowned upon as it is in white society. You should hear how blacks talk about Africans. In fact, as we see here, racism is defended and embraced when it comes from the ‘right’ source.
I grew up in the south and traveled the world. The worst racism I have seen, by far, resides in America’s inner cities where ignorance reigns supreme.

Dr. Carson grew up in inner city Detroit with a mother who had a third-grade education. This is the man who should be the hero to all communities. I suspect we will hear a lot about him and this will not please BO.

I only hear the liberal left banging on about race. Taking offence on behalf of minorities who seem to be largely untroubled.
