Dems Trying To Confiscate Guns

Obama and Biden keep saying that they aren’t confiscating guns – because that is exactly what they are trying to do.

4. Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution:
(1) Remove the assault weapon or large capacity magazine from the state of Missouri;
(2) Render the assault weapon permanently inoperable; or
(3) Surrender the assault weapon or large capacity magazine to the appropriate law enforcement agency for destruction, subject to specific agency regulations.
5. Unlawful manufacture, import, possession, purchase, sale, or transfer of an assault weapon or a large capacity magazine is a class C felony.

Their plan is to lull America to sleep, so that they can stab us in the back. Obama has given 7,000 fully automatic weapons and 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition to his cabinet level mercenaries – for use inside the US.

Call up your Congressperson – while you still have one.

Fat chance that will pass in Missouri. This is the state where a car dealer gave away AK-47’s with the purchase of a truck…

With so many other pressing issues, like the country going bankrupt and Iran and N. Korea going nuclear, we are wasting way too much time and effort, trying to come up with an ineffectual, non existent “solution” to the so called “gun problem”.

  3. The Iconoclast says:

Freemen possess arms, and when we wish to know if a nation is free, we need only examine the distribution of arms. If the people may possess arms, we have a republic, and if the king has all the arms, we have tyranny.

    You are the enemy

At West Point where cadets are groomed into officers, a new 148-page report released on January 15 is urging enlisted men and women to be on alert for “terrorists” in the form of those who consider themselves patriots.

This study, released by the United States Military Academy’s Combating Terrorism Center, is entitled “Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right.” Its author, Professor Arie Perliger, the Director of Terrorism Studies at the Combating Terrorism Center and Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Sciences at West Point, holds membership in the Council on Foreign Relations and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, as well as being a former instructor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

I believe that Delta Force was present to Waco.

      Now that’s my generation.

Not only Delta, but 160th SOAR as well…back when all these guys were still “secret”.

160th birds were “loaned” to the National Guard. Now that may get around Posse Comitatus but Texas law still prohibits domestic use of the TNG, and it was still an ATF command.

  6. Robertv says:

If only the democrats would be the problem. The Patriot Act is republican. University is a great place to work without those damn students. Politicians hate The People having power.

  7. Rosco says:

In Aus. the government paid for the guns surrendered – using a special temporary levy on Medicare ?

Since Australia was “disarmed” in the late 90s I have never seen so many reports of shooting murders, attempted murders or other associated violent crime such as armed robbery.

Violent crime was rare in my youth – an armed roberry story is on the news every second night or so. Concealable handguns were always difficult to come by.

Perhaps financial pressures are a cause as I also do not remember a homeless”crisis” being so prominent in 70s Australia.

We were subject to more harassment in the 70s though – a group of young men would routinely be questioned by police about their activities if found on the streets at night – even if completely sober and innocent of any wrongdoing.

The cessation of this by police has not really improved freedom for people at night – instead of police harassing you it is now gangs of out of control drunks – likely to react with violence.

I used to be annoyed by always being pulled up by police – now I wouldn’t go tosome of the inner city areas at night where the police harassment used to take place.
