When Obama says that he has reduced the deficit by $2.5 trillion, what he means is that he has increased it by almost $1 trillion.

He is saying that if he had had his way more money would have been spent and we would be in worse shape than we are now. The Nasty Conservatives tied his hands so he could not spend more!
Now he will be free to use Executive Orders to waste even more money on Bogus projects, if those pesky Repubs will just cave in to his wishes!
True, Obama is the biggest spender in history who could care less about deficits and debt but the 2009 budget was a George W Bush budget. The reality is GW Bush while not nearly as bad as Obama was a huge spender too, and he hardly reflected true fiscally conservative ideals.
2008 and 2009 budgets came from congress … under the ‘leadership’ of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.
Sooooo…because Bush spent money [ Approved by Congress ]…Obama [ Who has never had budget pass Congress – NOT even by his own party ] gets a pass?
