That part of the world is such a mess. That is why energy independence is so important.

    • Building Keystone is boring. But bombing people is apparently a big thrill for Obama.

This is what happens when the president talks without a teleprompter as his guide.
He opens his mouth and now the GOP will be held accountable for giving Aye’s in congress to his insane plan & promise to be “A man of his word”. The red line has been crossed and he could give a shit about the people that suffered, but he’s successfully tying that red line warning right around the GOP’s neck!

emailed and faxed all my congresscritters:

    Dear Congressperson:

I implore you to oppose any sort of military action against the sovereign nation of Syria.

For one, you will be aiding and abetting terrorists, including those who openly boast of being associated with Al Qaida.

Two: Such an attack would be blatantly illegal.

Three: Any attack on Syria would immediately involve Israel, Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia. These are the primary supporters of the terrorist death squads in Syria, and also the hosts of those strategic targets which Syria will be able to engage in self defense. Countless people, including Americans, will die.

Four: Iran, Russia and China may come to the defense of their strategic partner Syria. At a minimum, it would be an opportunity for Russia to destroy some of our strategic assets located near Syria and in space.

Five: Even if these powerful nations avoid military confrontation, limiting the conflagration to only the Near East, there are numerous strategic actions these nations may take to cripple Anglo-American hegemony. Target one would be the U.S. dollar; target two, Saudi and Gulf oil production, control of which props up the dollar and is the lynchpin of Anglo-American global hegemony.

Attacking Syria would be turning the ongoing, low intensity conflict against Russia and China hot. There is simply no need to challenge Russia and China. It is not in our best interest to risk war and collapse to extend a monopolistic, unipolar world order. What is in our best interest is to acknowledge independent power centers and build a stable, peaceful, and prosperous multi-polar world order.

Obama wants to do for Syria what he did for Egypt, Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq and most notably from my perspective, the “fundamental transformation of America”. Lawlessness and ruin? That’s where we’re headed.
