“The minister insisted”

The German Economy Minister says Germans will be happy to have their lives ruined.

“If the storage facilities in Germany were mathematically 100% full… we could do without Russian gas completely… for just about two-and-a-half months and then the storage tanks will be empty,” he told the Maybrit Illner program Thursday on the German ZDF channel.

Economy Minister Robert Habeck also told the newspaper Der Spiegel on Friday Germany could be forced to close down entire industrial sectors if there is a nationwide natural gas shortage.

All factory activities will be suspended. It will be a disaster for some industries. And we are not talking about two days or weeks, but about a long time. We are talking about people, who will lose their jobs and regions that will lose entire industrial complexes,” Habeck said.

The minister insisted, however, that Germans are united in the face of these difficulties, support anti-Russia sanctions, and are ready to endure some degree of hardship.”

June 24 temperatures in the Midwest were much warmer prior to 1960.

The last hot year was 1988, when James Hansen started the global warming scare before Congress.

“Friday, June 24, 1988

“Our climate model simulations for the late 1980s and the 1990s indicate a tendency for an increase of heatwave drought situations in the Southeast and ‘Midwest United States,” he testified.

In an interview, Hansen said, “It is time to stop waffling so much and say the evidence is pretty strong that the greenhouse effect is here.”

The Day The Science Died

NASA’s James Hansen started the global warming scare before Congress on June 23, 1988. It was the hottest June 23 on record, and was an outlier from the eighty year cooling trend.

“On Thursday (June 23, 1988) Hansen became the first climatologist to declare publicly that a major culprit in this year’s warmth is the greenhouse effect, a kind of atmospheric warm blanket made thicker by gases that billow up unnoticed from wherever human beings live and work.

By doing everyday things like driving cars and clearing forests, people send up carbon dioxide and other “greenhouse gases” that stay aloft for decades, Like the walls of a greenhouse — or the windows of a closed car in summer — these gases allow sunlight in to warm the Earth, but trap much of the resulting heat before it can rebound back into space”
