When I point out fraud and collusion in climate science, a standard response from climate alarmists is :

That is just nutty conspiracy theory to believe that all the world’s scientists are lying about climate

I don’t know where they manufacture people that dimwitted, but Duke University just paid out $112,500,000 in fines for obtaining scientific research money fraudulently.

The whistleblower made over $30 million for standing up for scientific integrity.  Now we need someone at Penn State University who wants to get rich and put an end to Michael Mann’s (very profitable) reign of terror over climate science.

I went to see  “Apollo 11” last night. It was an incredible film, consisting almost entirely of original film clips from the beginning to the end of the Apollo 11 moon mission – which occurred fifty years ago.  One of the best movies I have ever seen.

Getting to the moon was one of the most incredible engineering, scientific, and managerial successes ever assembled, requiring coordination and perfection from thousands of brilliant, honest, competent and very brave people – aided by only very primitive computer technology. The presence of even one dishonest or incompetent person at NASA would likely have resulted in failure. The only other comparable accomplishment in human history was the Manhattan Project, which occurred in my backyard in Los Alamos.

Shortly thereafter, portions of NASA were taken over by dishonest, incompetent hacks – as exposed by Richard Feynman after the Challenger Disaster in 1988.

One of the authors of this book is James R. Hansen – no relationship to James E. Hansen, who created the NASA climate science disaster – also in 1988.

Hansen predicted an increase in heatwaves and drought for the US, which is the exact opposite of what happened. He also predicted that Lower Manhattan (where his office was located) would be underwater by 2018.

Hansen’s incompetence and fraud led the people responsible for going to the moon to write a letter to the NASA administrator – asking for an end to NASA’s junk climate science.

The NASA administrator ignored the people who sent us to the moon, because he felt that his primary mission was to make Muslims “feel good.”

NASA and America are no longer able to put people in space. But we do now have a culture of perpetual dishonesty, incompetence and stupidity in the Democratic Party and the press.

The notion that renewable energies and batteries alone will provide all needed energy is fantastical. It is also a grotesque idea, because of the staggering environmental pollution from mining and material disposal, if all energy was derived from renewables and batteries. Orange County, Florida used to be one of the largest citrus producers in the state.

But it got too cold there, and the citrus industry is nearly gone.

Today there are so few citrus groves left in Orange County they could fit neatly inside a single modern housing development such as east Orlando’s Avalon Park.

Orange County at one time was one of the top five producers of citrus ….. a freeze in the 1950s had wiped out most of the tangerine production ….. At just 2,300 acres today, the amount of ground covered in trees is down 50 percent in the last 10 years and is just a tiny fraction of the some 50,000 acres of groves in Orange County before the freezes of the 1980s. ….

That was around the time when the title “citrus grower” became a synonym for “real estate developer.”

“We had no choice,” Chicone recalled. “The first freeze came [in 1983] and most everybody replanted. It took a lot of money to clear the land and buy new trees and start producing. We all did that one time and then the second freeze came.”

That was in 1985. Then another severe freeze in 1989, which wiped out much of whatever had managed to survive.
