Democrats : Bringing Morality Back To Washington

Science 1973 – Glaciers To Cover Long Island

The suspicion that winters are getting colder is no longer merely a suspicion among climatologists. Over the last 30 years permanent snow on Baffin Island in Canada has expanded. Pack ice around Iceland in the winter is increasing and becoming a serious hazard to navigation. Warmth-loving armadillos that migrated northward in the first half of this century are now retreating southward toward Texas and Oklahoma.

If all indications are correct, worse is yet to come. Judging by what has happened in the past, it may very well get cold enough to allow great glaciers thousands of feet thick to cover North America as far south as Long Island, burying the highest peaks of the White Mountains and Adirondacks.

Climate Science : Where The Error Is Larger Than The Trend

Sea level is measured very precisely by satellites, with the error often larger than the measured trend. And when they are done making their bogus calculations, they tack on the completely fraudulent global isostatic adjustment (GIA) – for extra propaganda value.

The Real Weather Control Knob

Before Barack Obama healed the planet in 2008, Air Force General Larry Stutzreim was the Air Force director of weather.

Weather and the Calculated Risk – Google Books

MAJOR GENERAL LAWRENCE A. STUTZRIEM > U.S. Air Force > Biography Display

I knew the weather director when he was at ASU in the 1970’s, where one of my best friends was his future wife. Candy Stapely was widely celebrated as the first woman accepted into the Air Force Academy (at least until they found out she wore contact lenses and booted her out.) In preparation for her USAFA physical, I used to take her out to the track every day and make her run a few miles.

The main reason Candy wanted to go to the Air Force Academy was because she wanted to marry a fly boy. Candy and Larry started dating around that time – and when he got cold feet a few weeks before the wedding, I took him out for a beer and convinced him to go through with it. (Last time I talked to Candy about 15 years ago, she was still blaming me for that.) I think (hope) that was the last time I gave anyone relationship advice.

This was all during the 1975 ice age scare, before global warming started causing extreme weather and flooding.

In those days global cooling was blamed for extreme weather. So what is a weather director supposed to do?

Thirty Percent Increase In Arctic Sea Ice Volume Over The Past Decade

Ten years ago, America’s leading Arctic experts said the climate had passed the tipping point, and the Arctic could be ice-free between 2013 and 2018.

28 Aug 2008, 7 – The Daily Journal at Newspapers.com

The exact opposite has happened. Arctic sea ice volume is up 30% over the past ten years.

The coverage of thick ice has massively expanded over the past ten years.  The animation below switches between 2008 and 2018, and masks out all ice less than four feet thick.

Arctic sea ice volume melt has been declining for fifteen years, and this year was fourth smallest melt on record.

Spreadsheet    Data

Arctic summer temperatures have been running consistently below normal over the past decade, so there should be no surprise that sea ice melt is down.

Meanwhile, the usual criminals in the press blame an imaginary increase in extreme events on imaginary loss of Arctic ice.

Just When You Thought They Couldn’t Possibly Get More Stupid …

CO2 used to target women and children of color, but now it targets national parks.

CO2 Targeting Tourists

CO2 is not just targeting the National Parks, but it is also specifically targeting tourists.

Climate Change: More Tourist Deaths on Melting Glaciers – The Atlantic

The Atlantic article above cited five glacial accidents since 1987 – which is a huge improvement over 100 years ago, when tourists were having glacial accidents every day and climate change was causing a plague of vipers.

MELTING GLACIERS.    ALPS VERY’ DANGEROUS.

There have been many accidents and several deaths in the mountains in the past week. Hardly a day has passed without tourists being extricated from crevasses.

Another result of the heat has been a plague of vipers in the lower Alps.

North Pole To Disappear Soon

In 1923, radical climate change was going to cause the North Pole to melt entirely.

NORTH POLE MELTING. MANY GLACIERS VANISHED.

Is the North Pole going to melt entirely?

Reports from fishermen, seal hunters, and explorers who sail the seas around Spitsbergen and the eastern Arctic all point to a radical change in climatic conditions, with hitherto unheard-of high temperatures on that part of the earth’s surface.

And now, ninety five years later there are only six million square kilometers of ice left.

According to Google, this is nearly one million times larger than Texas – which they say is 4.3 square miles in area.
