Republicans accuse Democrats in places like California of letting illegal immigrants vote. But regardless of whether or not they actually go to the voting booth, they all vote in the electoral college – which is determined by census. The more illegals they can flood into California, the more electoral votes California receives , and this the more influence they have in elections.

Illegal immigrants get just as much say in presidential elections as citizens do, and that is exactly the way Democrats want it.

Smoke from the California fires gave us a spectacular sunset this evening.

Last summer we had a similar sunset, but there was one big difference last year – sunspots. This year there aren’t any.

Just in case you forgot what sunspots look like.

Loli tells me she has sailed to the North Pole five times, and that I should spend $10,000 to cruise through the  Parry Channel two weeks from now.

Insurance companies fund global warming fake news, because it gives them an excuse to jack up their insurance rates and make even more billions of dollars in profit.

The fake news New York Times has a very detailed map of new shipping routes through the Arctic.

Never mind that there aren’t actually any ships on any of those routes.  They are all going through the Panama Canal.

But why would this story be any different than all the other lies the New York Times tells every day?

On this date in 1955, two thirds of the US was over 90 degrees, and there were 100 degree temperatures coast to coast.

August 2 afternoon temperatures have plummeted in the US over the last 90 years.

August 2, 1975 was the hottest day on record in Massachusetts (107 degrees) and Rhode Island (104 degrees.) There were 100 degree temperatures from Maryland to Maine.

In 2004, the Pentagon said the Northern Hemisphere will cool five degrees by 2020.

They also said the number of 90 degree days has increased, and the number of nights below freezing has decreased. Neither of those claims are true.

The frequency of 90 degree days in the US has plummeted.

The frequency of freezing nights peaked in 2013, and is oscillating cyclically.

Climate science seems to consist of a symmetrical set of misinformation about both the present and the past.  The only thing which is important in climate science is to be consistently wrong.
