I heard this conversation earlier on NPR. A flood in Paris which is nine feet lower than one in 1910, is evidence that Paris is going to be destroyed by climate change.

BEARDSLEY: Well, actually, Ari, there was a big flood 18 months ago. And that’s why people are a little bit alarmed. And everyone’s been watching the water rise on this one, saying, will it get as high as the flood in 2016, which came up to 20 feet above normal, the Seine River. They’re predicting that it will stop at around 19 feet and 6 inches. So it’s not going to be as high.The big flood, Ari, was in 1910. The Seine River came up 28 feet. And there’s markers all over the city for it. It – on my street, there’s one. It’s about up to my waist. I can’t even imagine the water coming, you know, all the way up there.

SHAPIRO: Eleanor, we think about cities that might be permanently altered or wiped out by climate change, people often talk about Miami, Mumbai. Should Paris be on that list?

Over the next week we are going to start hearing hysterics about Arctic ice being the lowest on record, how it hardly grew in January, and how we “may be” headed for a record summer minimum.

This animation shows what has been going on in January. Winds have been compressing the ice towards the center of the Arctic Basin, causing the ice along the Russian coast to be the thickest in 15 years.  The Northern Sea Route is completely blocked with very thick ice.

The ice is much thicker than it was ten years ago, and volume has increased ten percent.

Ten years ago the ice was so thin, our top fake news sources and fake scientists predicted an ice-free North Pole that summer.

The ice has gotten much thicker and will be difficult to melt this summer. Especially since summer temperatures have been running very cold near the North Pole in recent years.

There won’t be any predictions of an ice-free North Pole by NSIDC this year. But that won’t stop corrupt and incompetent climate scientists from claiming the ice is disappearing at a record rate.

NASA’s surface temperatures have been steadily altered over time to cool pre-1970 temperatures, and warm post-1970 temperatures. This creates the appearance of warming, which is necessary to keep government grants coming in to the agency.

During March of 2015, I predicted that Carl Mears at RSS, under extreme pressure from the climate mafia,  would alter his satellite data to match the fraudulent NASA surface temperature data sets.

Look for the satellite data to be adjusted to bring it into compliance with the fully fraudulent surface temperatures. The Guardian is now working to discredit UAH, so it seems likely that RSS will soon be making big changes – to match the needs of the climate mafia. Bookmark this post.

And that is exactly what happened. I captured this image about a year ago, which showed that both satellite data sets (RSS and UAH) closely matched, and diverged sharply from NASA’s surface temperatures.

This is the current version of the same graph.  The RSS satellite data has been tampered with to make it match the NASA surface data.

The next graph shows the changes to the RSS satellite data since early last year.

The only two people who were qualified to review this data tampering by RSS, Dr. Roy Spencer and Dr. John Christy, were not consulted and the changes were not submitted for peer review to them.

Here were Dr. Spencer’s predictions from January, 2017.

“I expect there will soon be a revised TLT product from RSS which shows enhanced warming, too.

Here’s what I’m predicting:

1) neither John Christy nor I will be asked to review the paper

2) it will quickly sail through peer review (our UAH V6 paper is still not in print nearly 1 year after submission)

3) it will have many authors, including climate model people and the usual model pundits (e.g. Santer), which will supposedly lend legitimacy to the new data adjustments.

Let’s see how many of my 3 predictions come true.

The climate mafia quickly trumpeted their latest corruption of science :

Global warming is the biggest scam in history, and the only climate forecast that is reliable is that climate scientists will do whatever they have to to keep their funding coming in.

Over the past century, as CO2 has increased in the atmosphere, the frequency of hot days in the US has plummeted.

The average maximum temperature has also plummeted as CO2 has increased.

Meanwhile, the average minimum temperature has increased as CO2 has increased.

The average daily temperature range has plummeted as CO2 has increased. We are seeing many fewer extremes in temperature than we did 100 years ago.

So what could be causing this?  NASA explains it below.

More CO2 causes more vegetation, which moderates both daytime and nighttime temperatures. In addition, more CO2 causes plants to need/use less water, which increases soil moisture. Soil moisture is one of the most important factors used by weather models when forecasting precipitation. Not surprisingly, precipitation has increased along with CO2.

Heatwaves are caused by dry soils, and dry soils are exacerbated by heatwaves.

The increase in CO2 is causing more vegetation, more rainfall, fewer extremes in temperature, fewer heatwaves and fewer droughts.  The exact opposite of what scientifically ignorant climate scientists claim.

On this date in 1950, it was 78 degrees at Laurel, MD – just outside Washington DC. Since then, January 26 temperatures have plummeted. Today’s forecast is 45 degrees, which is 33 degrees cooler than 1950.
