Global temperatures are plummeting and are now the lowest in the last six years.
Over the last two months, temperatures have dropped by almost 2C.
Late October temperatures have been declining for the last six years.
Hansen forecast massive warming kicking in around this time. We were supposed to have seen almost 0.4C increase during the last five years (Scenario B.)
“Over the last two months, temperatures have dropped by almost 2C”
OMG it’s worse than we thought. If that trend continues, we’ll reach absoulte zero in about 20 years time 😉
Or, maybe it’s because two months ago it was August and now it’s October.
Scratch that. Incorrect post. These are global temps, not NH temps.
Does that mean a natural climate cycle is as usual overrunning those awesome CO2 warm forcing powers,we keep hearing about?

2010 looks more like 2009 than 2008/2007 to me,there is a little bit more ice Russian side of arctic a little less on Canadian side.Is it going to be another cold winter in Europe?
Mr Goddard, are you sure you didn’t cherry pick this data. Hansen can’t be wrong!!!!!!!!!!!
Old Jimmy boy must be filthy, he has had this speech prepared since Easter.
Its obvious the agenda, temps are dropping, they know it, and want to tax carbon to reduce emmisions, as they are here in Australia, or trying to, so they can scream ” See i told you it was Co2!”
All I can say is this.
Temps are “plunging” down to the long term positive trend?
Think it will get below the 30 year mean by February?

Oooh, what a positive trend

Rob,
In two weeks, the UAH temps have dropped from being the highest in the last 6 years to the LOWEST in the past 6 years.
The link you supply doesn’t include the past two weeks.
I agree, the recent months have been warm – but with the current El Nino, the low sun activity, and the shifts in the AMO and PDO, let’s see what the next year or two brings.

From the strongest La Nina in a while. Since 1955-56 according to one calculation:

1955-1956

I’m sure it was part of James Hansen’s predictions. He’s always right. Use the Nostradamus apologist’s method of looking for a way to interpret what Hansen said until it all pans out to be prophetic!
;o)
There you go, showing graphs again!
