There was a Far Side cartoon where two polar bears are laying side-by-side relaxing by the edge of the ocean and in the background is an Igloo with the top broken off and one of them says “I just love those, crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside.”

Yes as one said the bears are an oppurtunisct eater and aware of their surrundings, but IMO the bear smelled the directors scent in the area and thought it smelled tasty.
