It’s hard to understand why “global warming” became so politicized. Either global warming is a real danger or it isn’t. Either some kind of action is warrented, or it isn’t. What any of this has to do with right vs. left or liberal vs. conservative is beyond comprehension.
Academics are funded through tax money, so they tend to be liberal. People’s viewpoint tend to be determined by who feeds their family.
I don’t think that global warming has anything to do with science any more. It is now just a matter of survival for many scientists who have no useful skills.
