The left believe they lead a nation of idiots, and with regard to those who follow them, they are correct. Everyone has been asleep at the wheel. Americans have been successfully mesmerized by a socialist media. The “Overton Window” has been gently shifted leftward for decades while no one paid attention.

I’m impressed. If a 14 trillion debt is right, according to the Debt Clock, each american is owing 46,150 dollars, each greek 41,590 dollars and each portuguese 22,500 dollars.
Ah, these 22,500 dollars include the 78 billion ‘bail-out’ (to be repaid at 6% interest). I mean, you do find out all sorts of stuff.

The 104th Congress came in promising to balance the budget as soon as possible. Clinton fought tooth and nail with claims of we’ll balance the budget in 6 years … 10 years … 8 years … etc”. They did it in just over two years (see this graph)
After Congress did *all* of the work, Clinton’s dirtbag advisers had him embrace the budget and use it for PR. Clinton is a big fat liar. And a pervert.
