They must be referring to the downwards trend in landfalling hurricanes and severe tornadoes which NOAA has documented.

They only told half the story! For every claim they made showing a sign of climate change there is also a counter claim that is also called a sign of climate change. However to complicate the issue even more any of those eleven conditions being stable is also a sign of climate change because climate is variable weather patterns .
Why don’t they mention record snowpack and bumper crops in the US Corn Belt. Those don’t count, I suppose.
Record snowpack IS a sign of global climate change, for goodness sake! The chart covers it under “changing rain and snow patterns”. Remember warm air holds a lot of moisture! In fact any weather event you can think of has already been predicted. Flood, drought, hurricane, tornado, heat wave, snow storm, ice storm, mild winter, severe winter; all of those things are bound to happen sooner or later and all fit perfectly under “wilder weather” or some other catagory.
Snow in Florida is undeniable proof that the climate is getting warmer.
so, when does the global warming, …. warm the globe?
the stark fact is that there hasn’t been any warming that isn’t part of recovering from the last ice age.
get over global warming, find a new religion.
lol, yep, they’ve all been predicted. droughtflood, warmcold, tornadoes (that have a declining 30 yr trend) hurricanes (which are at historic lows in occurrence and energy measurements) heat waves, ice storms mild and severe weather……. I’m wondering how (other than the declining frequency of tornadoes and hurricanes) this is any different than what we always have seen?
Oceans are acidic?
Ahh, its so wonderful to see that youth indoctrination hasn’t fallen completely out of favor. Goebbels would be proud.
Fact: In 2003, during the Bush admin, the “Kid’s Page” on EPA’s site contained a “Q&A” blog to “ask an expert.”
Somebody wrote to ask if the EPA “had any plans to regulate CO2.”
EPA’s answer: “EPA has no authority to regulate CO2 because EPA has no way to distinguish natural CO2 from any other CO2 and EPA has no authority to regulate anything it cannot measure”
I made a copy of that, and put it on my cork poster board. I was disappointed at the EPA for some other things at the time, but that gave me some hope.
There is but one thing now that gives me some Hope for the EPA.
Change.
The upper tab on the EPA page reads “Think like a Scientist”
Misprint – should read, “Think like a Socialist”
The EPA forgot to mention the record snowpack reported in the NY Times for 2011:
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/22/us/22snow.html?pagewanted=all
Failure to find a significant decrease in snow pack in the Cascades of Washington State over a period of about 20 years (and writing to tell people about his findings) pretty much cost the Associate State Climatologist his job about four years ago.
Who did that bother? Nobody! Was anyone in the press indignant over that? Nobody! The Governor told State employees that “global warming was a problem for Washington State” and demonstration to the contrary simply resulted in a dismissal
The only person who wrote about it anywhere was Chris Horner in his book
