Hiding Behind Statistics

At some point, climate scientists are going to have to deal with the fact that they too are bound by physical law. If the ice melts, the water has to go somewhere – immediately. It can’t show up twenty years later through some perversion of statistics.

A downwards trend can not be a statistically significant upwards trend, no matter how corrupted your Al Gore infected brain may be.

BUT! BUT! BUT! the Volcano that erupted 20 years ago is just now affecting the climate!!!! Big Jim said so! And he is the current incarnation of the all knowing Carnak the Magnificent, Able to pull amazingly meaningless facts from his posterior!

        Steve,
This is the exact same point I have pointed out a few times now. They have made it very clear that the glaciers are in general retreat, that we have had the hottest decade on the record, that Greenlad’s ice balance is looking bad and so on………….. yet there is no acceleration in the rate of sea level rise. There is evidence of a deceleration and a drop last year! Most folks would think that they are being scammed. 😉

      • Jimbo says:

Let’s not hide any longer – the rate of sea level rise is terrible.

“It is essential that investigations continue to address why this worldwide-temperature increase has not produced acceleration of global sea level over the past 100 years, and indeed why global sea level has possibly decelerated for at least the last 80 years.”

    Mann + Tijlander disgree.

It is a new unprecedented world. Of downupward trends and flat tipping points, with mysteriously delayed reactions and missing heat apparently melting brains.

How much water was saved or created?

  4. Jimbo says:

Warmists love to argue that we are generally oil funded. I wish oil companies would send me cheques. 😉 I have NEVER received a single cheque. BP, Shell, Exxon where are you?

  5. Andy WeissDC says:

Don’t I deserve some oil money for making all my smart ass remarks? I’m doing the bidding of trillionaires and they won’t give me a cent.

  6. Richard Todd says:

If the water don’t rise, you must get wise.
