On the first day of summer, I forecast that Lake Powell would rise to about 3,655 feet. It is now up to 3,660 feet. It will probably peak at around 3,662 feet, despite the fact that they have been letting a lot of water out of the dam.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

lol, yep, you blew that one!!!
Steve, I’m wondering if you have a collection of all of the people who stated that the demise of Lake Powell was impending and unavoidable?
This, obviously is one of the greatest irks I have about the doomsdayers of climatology is that they get to say whatever they want and when it doesn’t come to fruition, no one holds them responsible or even acknowledges that they were entirely incorrect.
I think perhaps a letter asking for a retraction/clarification or acknowledgement that they didn’t know WTF they were talking about is in order.
That would be worth doing some research.
Off by 5 feet—and you call yourself a scientist!
;^)
oh, BTW, how much were the alarmists off by?
300 feet?
Where is Mr Duncan? I’m sure there is can be an irrational explanation for this, and I’m sure he is racking his whatever to create one.
I would offer Gavin my condolences, but it’s a safe bet he has already deluded himself into believing he is still somehow right.
Gavin’s waiting on Jim’s adjustments that make the level appear lower. Won’t be long now
A football field? Even Brett Favre can’t throw one that far.
Oh, just thought of this: hey Tony, where are your criticisms of how far off global warming scientists are on this one? You must have volumes to say about it.
