#2 – 1939 was the golden year of movies! Wizard of Oz, and Gone with the Wind! Both relevant to the discussion as one shows there was tornados before 1979, and the other shows what is happening with the money spent on AGW.
The suggestion that random unextraordinary weather events and flooding (which isn’t even nescessarilly due to “extreme” weather) somehow is evidence of AGW is beyond absurd. However, we won’t see any of the resident clim-o-trolls condemn this foolishness even though they present themselves as the very soul of all that is rational.
