Update On CSU Shenanigans

Fred Singer tells me that there was supposed to be a projector in the CSU conference room, but that it “went missing.”

The complaint from the resident CSU atmospheric scientist warmists and the Coloradoan, was that he didn’t present any data to back up his assertions. Earlier in the day Fred gave the presentation at the CSU Physics department, who did provide him with a projector.

Fred offered to show the data on his laptop after the talk was over. I have no idea who is responsible, but it doesn’t look good for the university.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

These warmistas aren’t going down without a fight….

Well this isn’t surprising. The thing is the general public isn’t aware of what’s going on, they just see what the media reports so it looks like skeptics don’t have any real arguments. It’s going to be interesting though if it gets colder over the next years, so the global warmists will have to come up with more and more contrived explanations.

..and there wasn’t another projector in all of CSU

If it turns out that projector removal was an attempt to contrain the presentation so only the verbal part could be delivered, this just makes the consensus scientists just look petty and reveals that they need to “fix” the event to assure a win. Those all the hallmarks of the insecure and folks who may not understand the math will understand the shennanigans.

Thank goodness for the Internet. At least that is one place where there still is free speech. Let’s hope the Government doesn’t shut that down.

  6. Blade says:

What is amazing is that there are still many normal non-AGW scientists around that still do not understand what they are up against. (not necessarily talking about Singer).

They have it completely rigged against them at all levels, in almost all fields, particularly in the management positions (see the AGU fiasco for example). But it is really everywhere, academia, media, politics, FedGov agencies (Hansen is *still* employed, as is Gavin!).

It’s all good though, once they all get burned enough by the AGW Cult the kid gloves will come off and our folks will start swinging for the seats.

In the meantime we watch and wait as these incidents pass, and still read comments about ‘lighten up dude’ and ‘ease up on the vitriol’ etc.

    Yeah, right.
