Where’s Your Record Low?

People keep posting how awful the condition of the ice is and that the world is experiencing a record heat wave. “Shirley” we must be headed for a spectacular record low.

It is the thinnest, rottenest, least extensive ice that man woman or alien has ever seen, and the heat index is 121 degrees.

      “Rottenest Ice?, what is it?”
“It’s a slab of frozen dirty white water, but never mind that now”.

Record late ice break up in Barrow. Persistant la Niña for most of the year. Cold temperatures through out the world for most of the year. Ice extent tracking 2006 for months. MYI at highest in years. SHIRLEY ice minimum will be highest it has been in years.

You are going to lose your Chicken Little Merit badge if you do not start using the car dash index that shows the temperature being over 160F in the sun.
