The two images below have a 1% difference in absorption of visible light. Can you tell which is which?

I’m trying to figure out which is which, but I can’t see both at the same time clearly … one of my kids coloured on my LCD screen with blue pen :(.
Is the upper frame darker?
The upper frame is RGB(100,100,100) and the lower frame is RGB(99,99,99) so the lower frame is darker. RGB(0,0,0) is black. RGB(255,255,255) is white.
My incorrect guess makes your point exactly.

There is almost no smoke today.
Yes.
I can’t see any difference, but our alarmist friends claim whatever difference there is will cause super duper exponential warming and a 200 m sea level rise, also destroy life as we know it on the planet.
Here’s the bottom image with a big “X” drawn on it in the color of the top image:

I can just barely see the “X”, but if you hadn’t said it was there, I wouldn’t have known.
Somebody left the lens cap on!
Gosh, it is easy to see which one is darker! It’s the burning hot one, the one that is murdering all the polar bears!
