    Two winters ago there was near-record snowfall in the Tahoe area. Hiking was very difficult in late July of 2011 because snow still covered so much of the trails that I kept losing the trails and had to bushwhack for miles to get back to my cabin.

    California has an exceptional drought every summer. That is because it almost never rains there in the summer. Duh!

    Climate Change Drought hit California First many Eons ago.

    Not very long ago California used to be First in everything.

    Maybe we’ll be the First State to go Bankrupt !
