The report, presented to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois, asked the government to prosecute Pacific Institute President Peter Gleick, a prominent climate scientist and environmental activist. Several presentations based on information contained in this document were made to the staff of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, including David Glockner, at the time head of the criminal division, and Gary Shapiro, now acting U.S. Attorney. So far, the government has declined to prosecute Peter Gleick.

The Obama banana republic does not prosecute people who support him, but if Gleick were convicted he would have to give up his shotgun.
Maybe it’s time for a “From my cold dead hands…” bumper sticker

It’s about time. What have they been waiting for?
IL is a state more corrupt than most. Don’t expect FOBs to be prosecuted in blue state IL.
I do not expect criminals to be prosecuted there.
Maybe someone should start a petition to prosecute Peter Gleick.
A good start would be contacting GOP officials in Illinois – http://www.weareillinois.org/learn/officials.aspx
I find this non-interest in laying charges a horribly blatant example of a two tier system of law enforcement. It’s very much along the lines of the Climategate whitewashes. What do you tell your kids – everyone’s equal in the eyes of the law, except when they’re not? I think the scales of justice lifted up the blindfold, saw it was a AGW democrat that confessed he’s guilty, and then she turned the other way. It’s digusting.
