I’m starting to think seriously about moving across the border to Cheyenne, Wyoming.
They don’t have any income tax in Wyoming, they don’t encourage drug abuse and they respect the US Constitution. Plus they allow fireworks and the cost of housing is much lower. Between tax savings and housing, I can probably save an extra ten to fifteen thousand dollars per year.
The PRK (People’s Republic of Kolorado) is starting to make me ill, with their James Holmes, their Ramseys, their Ward Churchills – what a totally messed up place.
“Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man’s appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded.” – Abraham Lincoln
Oops: It was investigated by a Lincoln scholar at the request of Ollie Steinberg of the Minnesota Grassroots party. Like Mark, he found no record of any speech by Lincoln on the alleged date (Dec 18, 1840).

Yea, right. I have his journal digitized before me and it reads…
Journal of March 26, 1842, In it Lincoln used these
prophetic words: “And when the victory shall be com-
plete — when there shall be neither a slave nor a drunkard
on the earth — how proud the title of that Land which may
truly claim to be the birthplace and the cradle of both
these revolutions, that shall have ended in that victory.”
He also uttered this bold statement which remains un-
challengeable: “Whether or not the world would be vastly
benefited by a total and final banishment from it of all in-
toxicating drinks seems to me not now to be an open
question. Three-fourths of mankind confess the affrma-
tive with their tongues, and I believe all the rest acknowl-
edge it in their hearts.”
But don’t take my word for it. Download it yourself from Library of Congress digital archive.

What could possibly be holding you back? Run, don’t walk.
We would be proud to have you as a neighbor here Steve.
Thank you. I figure I better get out before Colorado builds a wall to keep people inside their worker’s paradise.
And Steven, bring Magpul with you, they would be a nice fit.
“Borders give you choices. Your town has a crummy grade school? Move ten miles north and there’s a better one. Sick of Massachusetts taxes? Move to New Hampshire, as thousands do”

P.S. Go for it Steve! 😉
He will not be happy

Letter to POTUS from a Columbine survivor, who was shot…
“Let me ask you this: Why would you prefer criminals to have the ability to out-gun law-abiding citizens? Under this policy, criminals will still have their 30-round magazines, but the average American will not. Whose side are you on?”

Pretty much every government policy helps criminals.
Yes, criminal politicians and street criminals work together; they have a lot in common.
Obama is definitely not on our side. Hopefully we will find out who he is working for before it is too late.
Soros seem to have his dirty fingers in everything including IPCC.

“Tell Vladimir I’ll have more flexibility after the election”

He is, to my mind, a demonstrated jihadi moralist, compulsively grabbing for the high moral ground (in grandiose but empty or false generalities), and intent upon justifying his early education in Indonesia and the black radical, “educated” muslim and secular humanist influences upon his “character” (of which, when decisions have to be made, he has repeatedly demonstrated he really has none, hence the compulsive lying in order to stay ahead of his so-far-deluded followers). He really only knows mimickry (author Shelby Steele calls it the “mask” that young disaffected black men have long resorted to in a white-dominated society), and he wants America to become more like the rest of the “educated” world as he has experienced it in his strangely coddled life I mentioned him in my latest blog post about where we are headed:
War, Or Enlightenment: The Only Option
It seems clear to me that he is betting the farm on his own self-inflated moral (and, to a lesser but still-inflated extent, his intellectual) judgment, which he thinks he can use to bring East, West and Muslim (!) together–a veritable messiah of our time, perhaps even the “12th Imam” (a “Second Coming” character) of Islamic prophecy. To us, of course, he is more obviously just another deluded, and greatly destructive, anti-Christ.
Steve, I’ve lived in Wyoming and Colorado. Dislike the Colorado left wing bent but enjoy the view. As for Wyoming, I like the politics but hate the wind. You may find riding a bicycle a bit more difficult in Cheyenne or Laramie than where you are in Ft. Collins. If you do make it to Wyoming you might want to take up parasailing. It is a much easier and faster way to get to Nebraska.
I’ve often thought that western Colorado, Wyoming and eastern Utah should break away and make one state. We, here on the west slope of Colorado, have much of our ways of living dictated by the masses on the front range. They know nothing of our culture but think we need to accept theirs without question. Colutaming, Wycolotah, Utawycolo?
I do not plan to be traveling through Colorado again! I will either bypass it on 80 or 40 when I travel west!
