A few years ago, the UK National Trust warned that England’s climate would soon be like Spain. What they meant to say is that Spain’s climate would soon be like Scotland.
MADRID, Feb. 12 (UPI) — The majority of Spain is covered in knee-deep snow and more than 930 miles worth of roads have been closed as a result, officials said.
Madrid, Mancha and Navarra are among the hardest hit regions, thinkSPAIN reported, and areas in the south have already been hit hard or will be soon.
In areas in the western region of Galicia, snow in remote areas has reached as much as 5 feet deep.

The snow in Spain falls mainly on the plains.
El chubasco!
Heavy snow in unlikely places is totally consistent with a warming planet, as is no snow in snowy places. Every idiot knows that before CO2 reached 350 ppm, everyone always got exactly normal snowfall. And the sugar plum fairy always arrived exactly on time!

One of my friends live in the hills over-looking Madrid – the temperature range in her village is from below minus 20 C to above plus 40 C – snow there is normal in winter as anyone looking out of the plane window while coming in to land at Madrid will see.
