Obama intentionally picks an idiot for secretary of defense, and then he is surprised to find that the guy is an idiot.
“It’s somewhere between baffling and incomprehensible,” a member of Mr. Obama’s own team of advisers on Iran said on Thursday night when asked about Mr. Hagel’s stumbling performance on the question during the all-day hearing. The worry was evident in the voice of the official, who would not speak on the record while criticizing the performance of the president’s nominee.
Obama purposely picks idiots so that he can appear to be the smart one. If he surrounded himself with intelligent people, they might tell him that his policies have a negative effect on most people and do the most harm to poor minorities. Think of how that would upset his worldview and it might even hurt his golf game.
Mr Hagel is, indeed, a joke, about what Mr Obama thinks of “Republicans.”
Back in the 1960’s Black Panthers absorbed “hippies” in a similar display of “humor.”
The Country continues to pay for Mr Obama’s “entertainment”
If the NY Times says Hagel did not do well, he must have been completely terrible. Usually the NY Times gives their liberal friends a pass, even when they do screw up.
