IPCC 2001 : “Milder winter temperatures will decrease heavy snowstorms”

Climate experts used to believe that global warming means less snow in winter, but now they understand that snow and heat go hand in hand.

In 2010-2011, heavy snow was due to global warming. Then in 2012 the lack of snow in the Eastern US was due to global warming, and now in 2013 heavy snow is again due to global warming.

The sad thing is people still believe this crap.

Look at the graph on this link:
    http://www.rockymountainclimate.org/snow_1.htm

Were I a climate scientist, I might predict that the graph would soon be debunked, or might have already been debunked by Steven Goddard….

“One of the most certain effects of climate change will be less snow in our mountains.
The world’s scientists report with “high confidence” that climate change will reduce snowpacks in the Rocky Mountains. “

When I was in the US on business in the early 90’s (I live in the UK), I watched a female new age pop singer on TV say that she “cried herself to sleep every night knowing her young son would never see snow in New York”. In the late 80’s and early 90’s we had had a few years across the northern hemishere with lower than normal snow fall. I occasionally wonder whether she remembers and how stupid she now feels.

how about we leave prophesying to the experts (God maybe?) and stop trying to play god simply because we gain some knowledge of some thing and do research and then have to come to conclusions based on incomplete knowledge (of course at the time they think they have enough info but they don’t) stick to what we know and then stop, stop trying to predict the future decades in advance, of course if they were honest they will admit it is about gettingfunding so they have to create all these scary scenarios, the world is going to end pay me, a volcano might erupt destroying half the planet, pay me. we are humans, limited in so many ways, we need to remain modest (recongize our limitations) and stop giving ourselves so much credit because we did this study or that study and we measureed this and that, science is not supposed to be a religion. it is however turning into one.
