“I always thought it was the Archie Bunkers of the world, the right-wingers of world, who were more resistant and more closed-minded about hearing the other side,” he said. “In fact, what I have learned is, in a very painful way — and I can open this shirt and show you the scars and the knife wounds — is that it is big media institutions who are identifiably more liberal to left-leaning who will shut you down, stab you and kill you, fire you, if they perceive that you are not telling the story in the way that they want it told.”
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Deep down, in the core of every man, is a line he will not cross
For liberals like Juan W, it’s pretty deep but he’s shown spunk before and pushed back against NPR and others.
Maybe there’s hope that a few will begin to stand up and call “Bu!!shi*”
I have limited respect when it had to happen to him before he would acknowledge it.
Goddard’s law

“For example, there is a tradition in many newsgroups and other Internet discussion forums that once such a link is placed, the thread is finished and whomever mentioned the RealScience blog has automatically lost whatever debate was in progress. This principle is itself frequently referred to as Goddard’s law.”

Yep, You can’t debate ugly facts.
Goddard’s Law – that’s a beauty. LOL
Marc Morano wins lots of debates using information I post. People should link to the source data I use, not my blog.
Your source articles are excellent, Steve. I always try to find sources myself, but have the luxury of coming to your site, Junk Science, WUWT, CFACT and Climate Depot for confirmation.
The kool-aid drinkers can make up whatever laws they want. It doesn’t change the fact that they are wrong.
Young adults simply tend to be liberal due to naïveté and idealism, yet they are the next demographic who are nowadays highly technically competent and may be open to add climate alarmism to their litany of activist complaints. Here is the best representation I’ve found of the Internet Generation which is well worth taking to heart in terms of how they will readily take offense to being subjected to the Glenn Beck treatment:

Glenn Beck’s a libertarian, in some ways like yourself I assume, so what is it in particular that is off-putting to the youth about his pitch? And what’s the solution to reach the youth effectively? A caveat, some are going to be incorrigible leftists, and so we of course need to concentrate on reaching out to the independent minded ones.
Why do you semantically challenged yanks insist on calling fascists “liberal”?
…or the political war now going on, “debate”. Why does anyone still listen to, much less believe, much less agree with, much less admire, Obama? Because the political landscape is insane–denying reality in any number of ways–and the populace is divided, and set in their beliefs. Right now, the authorities–in politics, but even more critically in science–are actually criminals, to the fundamental requirement for the truth to be told, and accepted, in order for people to remain sane (whole of mind). How do you correct a thoroughly deluded world, driven off the tracks of sane government, and sane education?
Hey John! I have been trying my best to get my countrymen to stop smearing liberals, for a liberal is someone who believes in liberty, as I do. You are absolutely correct that what is killing us the globe over is fascism, and in the US it comes in the form of progressives. Our language is being purposely deranged, as he who controls the language controls thought, and the deranged want to control how you think. Fascists are dressing up and calling themselves liberals, and we are going right along with it, at our own peril.
Juan Williams has only one person to thank for keeping him on-air since his firing from PBS (for speaking the truth)–and that’s Sean Hannity. Who said that strong-willed, principled conservatives don’t have hearts? And who said that left-leaning “social justice redistributionists” can’t be redeemed–if they’d only choose to get off the fence?
