Scientific American Job Requirement – Mandatory Incompetence

“Changing climate has not contributed to the lack of rainfall over the long term, as of yet,” he said. Last year’s drought, much like the famed Dust Bowl drought of the 1930s and another significant drought in the 1950s, is tied to rising sea surface temperatures in the Pacific Ocean– the weather event known as la Niña.

La Nina is unusually cold water in the Pacific, not rising temperatures since the 1930s.

Fortunately, the Texas State Climatologist pointed her stupidity out, though it probably flew right over her head.

“Until we see a long-term decrease in rainfall in Texas, it will be hard to say that climate change has caused a decrease,” Nielsen-Gammon said.

This is what happens when you “story” become so conveluted that nobody, including the authors of said “story”, can understand it anymore. At this point, it become ever so painfully obvious that the entire crux of their religion is just nothing but a “story”.

I can’t say that I am necessarily in much of a position to criticize, as I can no longer follow their “story” either. La Nina, El Nino, warm, cold, can’t really figure out what the hell their story is anymore.

It is obvious they do not know their story either. They have not known their story for many years. Each teller tells a different version! All of them wrong.

How could they publish such stupidity and expect to retain credibility ?

Peer review at its best – as long as the message is the correct one who cares about facts ?
