Tactical Quiz

I’m trying to figure out what Dorner is up to. His vehicle was found in the mountains burning with a broken axle and some large weapons. This tells me one of two possibilities.

  • His plan may have unraveled due to the broken axle, and now he is in hiding
  • He has set a very sophisticated decoy, and attracted attention to it by setting the truck on fire.

I think LAPD is being very smart by reopening his case. This will cause him to lose focus on killing people and make him think that he has accomplished his stated objective. Hopefully some citizen with a rifle will gun him down and put an end to this left wing hero POS.

I read a newspaper article yesterday comparing Dorner to past outlaws who were romanticized by the public, which made me want to puke.

People used to romanticize the story of fugitive bank robbers, not pre-meditated child mass murderers. Dorner is planning to kill more children than Adam Lanza.

And meanwhile we have stopped talking and thinking about the Sandy Hook shooting.

    mission accomplished

  2. Pathway says:

Looks like a ruse to me. He is probably in Mexico.

Has anyone checked Piers Morgan’s bedroom?

I’m more afraid of the cops!………..

David Perdue was on his way to sneak in some surfing before work Thursday morning when police flagged him down. They asked who he was and where he was headed, then sent him on his way.

Seconds later, Perdue’s attorney said, a Torrance police cruiser slammed into his pickup and officers opened fire; none of the bullets struck Perdue.

His pickup, police later explained, matched the description of the one belonging to Christopher Jordan Dorner — the ex-cop who has evaded authorities after allegedly killing three and wounding two more. But the pickups were different makes and colors. And Perdue looks nothing like Dorner: He’s several inches shorter and about a hundred pounds lighter. And Perdue is white; Dorner is black.

WTF……..But the pickups were different makes and colors

“Hopefully some citizen with a rifle will gun him down and put an end to this left wing hero POS.”

Clearly the LAPD can’t! They couldn’t hit two newspaper girls and a guy stuck in his car with an airbag immobilizing him!

  6. suyts says:

If he left his big guns, then something went awry for the lunatic. Broke axle means he couldn’t tote all of his crap. So he improvised.

  7. Reminds me of the title of a 1960’s book, “The Last Days of the Late, Great State of California”.

  8. Eric Simpson says:

I’m here at Big Bear still, and I can see an occasional helicopter flying over the hills on the periphery. Or every so often the copter comes buzzing right above my cabin. But I don’t get a sense of a full out search. Otherwise there’d be more copters, and more activity then what I can sense. Sure, I don’t have a bird’s eye view of the whole town, so who knows exactly what is transpiring.
Regardless of any survival training, it makes about as much sense as shooting himself in the leg to plan to go off into the mountains around here — with temps dropping to as low as 10°f, and heavy snow. And where would he go next?
So the decoy plan makes a lot more sense. His training would have made it easy for him to use a time-delayed incendiary to set his vehicle aflame. The broken axle gives you pause, but that easily could have also been part of his decoy plan. He just needs another vehicle, and if he knows the area at all he probably knew some semi-abandoned vehicles that could be hot-wired without being noticed. And there’s 3 ways to get off this hill.
Or, yes, he could have taken refuge in an empty cabin (or in the home of an aider & abettor!, and his mother owns a lot up here, so he might know someone…). Most of the cabins at Big Bear are vacation properties, so are usually empty. They talk about the cops doing door to door searches, but I haven’t seen it.

  9. Jerry says:

The amazing this the guy has done is cause everyone to question whether he did it on accident or purpose. That manifesto was brilliant psyops.

Everybody is asking questions. Was the truck and error or a ruse? Is he being patient and unpredictable? Nobody knows.

  10. Trip says:

Eyewitness on scene says blaze appears to have originated in the bed of the truck. Blaze was directional and very intense, scorching the earth below the rear axle. Fuzed thermite in a 12-ounce soda can would travel through the bed, the gas tank and the axle. Just set it and forget it. Small arms (cop-shop AR and 25-cal semi pistol) in cab. Setup. LA cops are bleeding manpower and cash, ultimate goal to raise public outcry enough that hardened shakedowns of Dorner’s contacts happen across the board, including Faceschmucks. Fear the worst for anyone still trapped in Lost Anglos.

  11. Me says:

What happen to release the hounds, let the dogs track him?

  12. u.k.(us) says:

Sounds like a drone got him.
    Truck destroyed, weapons intact.

(haven’t been following the “story” closely though).

  13. crosspatch says:

Until I heard of the broken axle I assumed it was a ruse. I assumed he had a second vehicle stashed someplace nearby and torched his existing truck and took off in the new vehicle. When I heard of the broken axle plus all of his cold weather gear, and weapons left in the truck, I figured his plans had gone sideways. A vehicle can usually be driven with a broken axle. It makes a hell of a noise but a broken axle doesn’t immobilize the vehicle under most circumstances. We don’t know how long he had been driving it that way.

  14. crosspatch says:

Also, since he left his cold weather gear in the truck, it would be an indication of one of two things: he knew he wasn’t going to need it because he has someplace else to go or a second set of it, or he knew he wasn’t going to need it because he was going to go someplace and end it all.

  15. Putting on my evil thinking cap.- If I was him, I would vanish for 3 months. By then the media would have moved on to something different, and everyone would have let their guard down. Then he could pop back into town and ….. Of course, he could be in downtown LA as we speak, right outside the police station. After all, who pays attention to the faces of the homeless.
