When lefties argue for confiscation of self-reloading rifles, they call them military grade weapons which don’t belong in the hands of civilians.
When the same people argue against the second amendment, they say that the rifles owned by civilians are mere toys compared to those of the military – and that the US military is going to come confiscate everybody’s puny little guns.
Their vision of the military waging war against law-abiding American citizens seems to make them very happy.
