Bill McKibben has a new article in Rolling Stone showing that the fight to keep us below two degrees C is not so one-sided anymore. Here’s the beginning but it’s worth a full read. It got so hot in Australia in January that the weather service had to add two new colors to its charts.

We’re not breaking records anymore; we’re breaking the planet. In 50 years, no one will care about the fiscal cliff or the Euro crisis. They’ll just ask, “So the Arctic melted, and then what did you do?”

In fact, the NORSEX sea ice site shows the Arctic sea ice area now literally at average, looks like it could make a jump to above normal levels soon, as it has done so this time of the year for the past several years, something warmists don’t seem to be too interested in talking about. http://arctic-roos.org/observations/satellite-data/sea-ice/observation_images/ssmi1_ice_area.png
They don’t care if the ice goes near or above normal near the peak – in fact, all they’re going to be focused on is whether or not that 2013 curve goes below the 2012 curve’s minimum.
So make a chart showing only those two curves, and you can bet the twitter feeds will light up if the curves pass.
McKibben isn’t interested in facts; he’s interested in shoring up a failed theory that continues to generate a steady flow of grant money. Let’s face it: The global warming scare is big business. If enough people wake up to the scam, the climatologists-turned-grifters will have to manufacture another bogeyman.
McKibben is not interest in facts, just his collectivist (communist) agenda. He will obviously tell any lie to further that agenda and has plenty of friends in the media more than happy to back him up. Otherwise, he would only be howling to the moon.
CSIRO have been totally compromised by this CAGW crap. Much of their “work” is to justify a carbon tax dreamt up by London financiers and sold to the watermelon greens. Then they get the government funding if they publish proof. There will be a corruption inquiry after the next election.

And all the crap about record temperatures was just that, crap.
Out of 47 “records”, only 5 stations went back before 1950 (one was only 9 years old). Of these 5, two were in Sydney, one in Hobart and a fourth was at an airport, leaving just one genuine record.

A straightjacket and a padded room is probably the only cure. Since these Guys like Bill McNutKibben have seriously deluded themselves so much they believe their own BS and can’t be bothered to listen even when the facts are different to their propaganda.
This might be a reaction to the weather we’ve been having. They have to ramp up the volume in order to, shall we say, deafen all the cooling outside.

We did have a run of hot weather along the east coast, which made a welcome change from the cool and wet summer of the previous year. It was great. 🙂
Trenberth says that warming is no longer a (required) sign of…… warming. So there you have it, from an expert. No evidence of any kind is required now. We should just “believe, and it will come” It (CAGW) is hiding behind the moon, together with Comet Hale Bopp, and the mother ship. Put on your tinfoil hat, and get in line for a cup of koolaid. Drop your wallet at the door.

It is a well organized and published “working hypothesis”, but is almost done, so the stories need to be imaginative with narratives that touch the heart!
One of the latest studies hints at where the science has been and is moving. Atmospheric chemical transitions via electromagnetic interactions (all wavelengths) and natural tides are big keys left out of all 40ish models since models were conceived/used and the 8000ish missing inputs to those models will rear their ugly heads soon enough!

If the forecasts are correct, northeastern Colorado has some serious cold coming. This map from Joe Bastardi is the temperature anomaly for 15-19 April. Some places see temperatures 35 C below normal (that’s 63 degrees F below normal!!!).

We saw through that on Jo-Nova the next day after they announced it. The prognostic chart had extra colours on it to cover their amazing prediction but then the real measured temperature never got that hot. In a word, they predicted wrong, but it doesn’t stop people pretending it really happened.
You just don’t understand. In climate science, predictions ARE evidence!
