Admiral In Charge : CO2 More Dangerous Than Nuclear Bombs

Always good to know that there are imbeciles at the helm.

WASHINGTON – The military officer charged with monitoring North Korea at a time when the rogue nation is threatening to unleash missile attacks worldwide has used a Senate hearing to double down on his claim that it is global warming that is the real danger.

Navy Adm. Samuel Locklear III originally caused a stir just weeks ago when in a speech to scholars at Harvard and Tufts universities in Cambridge, Mass., he said the climate change factor should be the focus of American concern.

    The US Navy’s James Hansen.

  2. Chewer says:

He probably wears a bullet proof vest when walking among the sailors…

  3. Ivan says:

You read things like this and you really start to worry – when you realise that the insanity has got out of the asylum.

  4. kirkmyers says:

We’re in trouble. The admiral is an example of the Peter Principle in action. I hope he knows the difference between starboard and port.

  5. This is a good example of why you should stick to advocating for what you understand, and not speak of those things you don’t.

  6. Justa Joe says:

I expect this clown to run for the donk or maybe even pub presidential nomination in a few years. Of course, he’ll no longer be useful, and they’ll mop the floor with him.

  7. Dave N says:

Better divert the Navy to monitor the climate in case it launches a nuke?

    • bkivey says:

If the Norks pop a nuke, there’ll be more political climate change than Adm. Locklear will know what to do with.

      • “Norks” = North Koreans, I get it (but I don’t want it; “who let that Cockney bloke in here, then? Is this a Real Science (TM) blog, or a Shropshire tavern?”) Next you’ll be using meaningless rhyming substitutes for the real words (something I’ve only ever seen in a Dick Francis adventure/mystery novel–“Driving Force”–up to now).

      • Andy Oz says:

        Well Harry, here goes nothing…..
Let the Cheese and Dips fall where they may.
The Norks won’t use their Molly Dukes with Heather’s brother in town.
It will be one for the frog and toad and we all go home to the dish and lids.
        😀

  8. David says:

We are ran by idiots and traitors. We are screwed no doubt.

  9. gator69 says:

Admirals and generals are politicians who have long since stopped being soldiers.

  10. Sundance says:

I’m guessing that this Admiral is trying to set himself up for some political hack position in the private sector.

  11. Anymoose says:

This is what happens when the teachers allow the students to sleep through their high school physics class.

  12. Chris Riley says:

If there were a Congressional Brownnosing medal, Admiral Locklear would have several pinned to his chest.
