Progressives don’t care that the legislation they push doesn’t actually do anything useful.
The only thing that matters is that it is painful, and that it allows them to exert control over other people.
Being a progressive is a sure sign of severe mental illness.
They actually prefer that it do nothing useful. That way it is sure to fail to do what they said it would do. Because of that failure, they get to do even more of the same. Hence, from the perspective of a progressive, it works exactly the way it was designed. The scam has worked for them for over a hundred years. Unfortunately, it will continue to work until our civilization collapses under the weight of it all.
I’d say that they prefer legislation doesn’t actually do anything useful because then they suffer no blame.
I think there is a tendency for people to try to fit the facts into their world view. It doesn’t matter if doing X doesn’t really work, it *should* work. And it’s the right thing to do anyway. And it’s better than not doing it…
Progressives call conservatives crazy or stupid as well. They might call religious people childish because they never grew out of their Santa-Claus complex or whatever. Ad hominem’s can be pointed at any target.
I’ve seen it all where liberals are called progressives and conservatives, they are all from the same lot posing. It’s at the point where doesn’t matter anymore, either they are for freedom and their countries constitution and bill of rights for sovereignty or they are against it
That’s the question I would like to see answered, so we the people can hold them accountable. Not promisses or any of thoses other weasel words.
Some people will sacrifice everything for their causes. How can they appreciate freedom if they have never been without it?
Then they should do some Military service and learn what is not a democracy and after that they would appreciate the freedom they had before.
That can be taken a couple of ways, it’s eigher you learn through discipline and follow lawfull orders to do what your told or where you are deployed to foreign countries and see for yourself what their way of life is.

Probably, because they can’t get people to volunteer anymore, so they are picking from the bottom of the basket now.
And making it touchy feely to try and keep them.

Which makes me wonder why they are passing laws (or trying to) that would prohibit them from buying guns. The recent surge in gun purchases have been done by democrats according to reports. I guess they figured they had to get them while the getting was good (although as we see in NY, owning a gun is no guarantee of having a gun).
