Hansen says that multi-metre sea level rise this century is almost dead certain, but NSIDC says that it is impossible.
Ted Scambos, the lead scientist at the National Snow and Ice Data Center at the University of Colorado, said that even under the worst case scenario he thinks it would take at least 500 years for West Antarctica’s ice to melt.
It is probably a math problem! 2000 + 500 = 2100! Hansen is correct, if you do math Hansen’s way. 😉 Is that before or after the oceans all boil away?
at well over-100 temps?
might be a bit longer?
Pot meet kettle! 😆
