Obama Expresses His Deep Disdain For The First Amendment

Appearing on “Meet the Press” Sunday morning following Saturday night’s media, politics and celebrity soiree, Todd explained the president’s disdain for independent online news sources was showing during his speech.

“It did seem … I thought his pot shots, joke-wise, and then the serious stuff about the Internet, the rise of the Internet media and social media and all that stuff – he hates it, OK? He hates this part of the media,” Todd said. “He really thinks that the, sort of, the buzzification – this isn’t just about Buzzfeed or Politico and all this stuff – he thinks that sort of coverage of political media has hurt political discourse. He hates it. And I think he was just trying to make that clear last night.”

‘Obama hates Internet news media’

Obama preferred the Soviet system, where a single voice reported the official government propaganda. Just when he got CNN and MSNBC trained to be his personal Pravda, this had to happen.

Obama would prefer that a couple of propaganda pieces control the media. The Internet is obviously a big thorn in the side of the establishment.

  2. Bill says:

Brings to mind a famous quote which also applies to the EPA email secrecy:

“Secrecy is the keystone to all tyranny. Not force, but secrecy and censorship. When any government or church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, “This you may not read, this you must not know,” the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives. Mighty little force is needed to control a man who has been hoodwinked in this fashion; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, whose mind is free. No, not the rack nor the atomic bomb, not anything. You can’t conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him.”

With any luck, Obama’s paranoia about on line news sources and social media will cause his sheep to flee it. Cleaning up the Internet without lifting a finger.

  4. ACR says:

I think you took a step too far, Steven. Obama is saying he doesn’t like certain online political sites, not that there should be a single voice or even that the sites he doesn’t like should be silenced. I think Obama can dislike certain media outlets without being accused of censorship.

More leftist concerns over our basic rights…

“A California couple had their five-month-old baby “snatched” by police after they took the infant to get a second opinion on a medical procedure, they claim….

The next day police showed up at the Nikolayev’s home with representatives from Child Protective Services (CPS). Alex went outside to meet them, where he says he was “pushed against the building.” When he asked if he was being placed under arrest, he said they “smacked me down onto the ground [and] yelled out, ‘I think I got the keys to the house.’”

Seeing the scene outside, Anna set up a camera in front of her door.

Video shows police letting themselves in without a warrant, and taking the baby.

“I’m going to grab your baby, and don’t resist, and don’t fight me okay?” one officer can be heard telling the mother in the video.”

God damn them! That scares the crap out of me. I only thank god my children are grown now.

And THAT, dear readers, is why I will never relinquish my very capable weapons from my very capable hands.

My kids? That’s a line in concrete.

And on another note, children are 7 times as likely to be sexually abused under CPS “care” as at home. Not to mention, 60% of kids under said excellent “care” are put on dangerous psychotropic drugs; including 3-year-olds on antipsychotics.

It is one of the most evil organization in Amerika–and THAT’S saying a lot.
