Obama, Feinstein Call to Regulate Pressure Cookers
Feinstein: Ban High-Capacity Ones
Washington, DC– In the wake of the Boston terrorist attack, California Senator Diane Feinstein plans to introduce the American Safe Cookware Act to the Senate. The bill calls for registration of all pressure cookers, a ban on high-capacity ones, and a limit of one per household. Transfers between households would be barred.
Mikey Bloomberg called a press conference to immediately support the bill, and announced formation of a new PAC named Rich, Spoiled Power-Obsessed Mayors Against Pressure Cookers. Bloomberg in a press release said “… why the hell can’t people just have their cooks and kitchen help use commercially-prepared foods– it’s better for jobs anyway.”
Nancy Pelosi beamed, in full California-plastic- surgery style, and added her support of the measure, especially the ban on high-capacity cookers. Pelosi said, “Nobody needs to can more than four jars of veggies at a time anyway.” Several California mayors plan pressure-cooker buybacks, supported by grants from Bloomberg’s PAC.
In addition, anyone purchasing a cell phone will be required to submit to a background check, and the self-contained phone book will be limited to 10 names except in the People’s Republic of Nueva York, where the limit will be 7 names.

Priceless, even if it did take me a few minutes to realize you were “just having fun.”
William Sonoma pulled pressure cookers of the shelves in their Boston stores.
Does the registration include “Tupperware” containers ?
I still have some bowls and lids from the ’60s that can really hold the pressure…
they could make one hell of a bang with the right recipe of ingredients…
Of course they will have to limit home canning supplies and moniter how much you use the smaller pressure cookers due to the excessive greenhouse gases emitted by processing smaller batches of canned goods vs the larger pressure cookers to get the equivilent number of canned goods.
They need to begin regulating baseball bats, nose-hair tweezers, and windows, too.

Help me out here, how many rounds does a high-capacity pressure cooker hold? Are restaurants exempt? Members of Congress? Are we going to have a Department of Houseware Security? Will there be body scanners at department stores? We should hold off on this rush to judgment until some important questions are answered.
You forgot to mention Ms. Pelosi’s comment on a question from the press: “You have to open the pressure cooker to know what’s in it.”
That’s a hoot, bkivey. Too bad the terroristas didn’t load their pressure cookers with all the cookies Hillary could have been baking while doing her best to model her “it takes a village” paradigm. Maybe if a few more of the hungry, murderous people in this world had a couple of Hillary’s wonderful chocolate-chippers, she wouldn’t have to explain away what happened at Benghazi, or why her husband likes interns.
Oh lordy, has this world gone completely mad??? Felons use guns and get them illegally, so lets ban guns. Now some idiot makes a bomb from a pressure cooker and we are going to set limits on those too? Good thing Obama was not in office when McVey did his thing in Oklahoma, they would have banned all moving trucks from the roads, or made you use the small trucks instead of one big enough to move a family. This government needs to get the hell out of office before we are no longer able to cross the street without some kind of stipulation!!
