Obama’s Call For The Borg

ScreenHunter_09 Apr. 03 05.12

From his inaugural address. He explained that we must organize into the collective and act as one.

But we have always understood that when times change, so must we; that fidelity to our founding principles requires new responses to new challenges; that preserving our individual freedoms ultimately requires collective action. For the American people can no more meet the demands of today’s world by acting alone than American soldiers could have met the forces of fascism or communism with muskets and militias. No single person can train all the math and science teachers we’ll need to equip our children for the future, or build the roads and networks and research labs that will bring new jobs and businesses to our shores. Now, more than ever, we must do these things together, as one nation, and one people.

Meaningless non-sequitur gibberish. No one suggested that a single person should attempt to do the work of 300 million people. What kind of moron would make a statement like that?

The primary threat we have to individual freedoms is Barack Obama in the White House. He is looking for worship from the American people to compensate for the lack of love he received from his father.

I think this guy enjoys speaking meaningless gibberish and having mindless leftists cheer him on.

You give him to much credit. He’s just reading what’s on the teleprompter. He didn’t write it; he doesn’t understand it.

“…individual freedoms ultimately requires collective action.”

Um, no they don’t. “Ultimately” individual freedom requires the ‘collective’ mind their own damn business, until it’s time to fight an aggressor.

    Leftist love rhetoric.

  3. Ivan says:

Actually, the bigger threat probably comes from the lunatic “in charge” at the Fed.

  4. If one can say anyone enjoys walking on razor blades, then yes, he “enjoys” it. He knows a substantial number of Americans see right through him, but he makes himself deaf, dumb and blind to our voices, and is locked into continuous lies and empty rhetoric; that’s all he and the Insane Left have, in reality (of course, outside of reality is what is in play–he, and we, also know his base is only so many vampires, hungry for power to justify themselves, and always in vain). The ultimate danger, of course, is that all those vampires will be forced to face the sunlight of truth at the same time, and will explode rather than simply dissolve their collective hate in honest acceptance.

It isn’t gibberish. He’s telling us what he plans to do. He’s a collectivist authoritarian after all.

Yep, the same situation as Fat Bastard Slick Willie.

This is a very perceptive point IMHO. There are a lot of maladjusted people running around with this kind of a chip on their shoulder. It starts with their mother (or whomever the substitute was) who pounded the child with a surplus of feminine emotionalism, useful for many things but pure logic and deductive reasoning are not among them (yes, there are exceptions, so just shut up).

Such people will spend their entire lifetime trying to prove that they are a man, but failing every time, to both them themselves and everyone around them. Additionally, this type of person is extremely vulnerable to group-think, liberalism and socialism and cultism like AGW are prime candidates.

I’ve known quite a few of these mental patients, more than most I suspect. They are always classic narcissists. In childhood, they are the kids that are always trying to be the center of attention yelling “look at me!”. And the mother (or substitute) and all other enablers are all too happy to oblige.

  8. “one nation, and one people.” He forgot “one leader.”
Or as it was said in German: “Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Fuhrer!”
