Climate experts Trenberth, Obama and Bloomberg told us after Sandy that global warming had heated up the oceans around the US, which is why almost all of North America is surrounded by unusually cold water.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Reblogged this on Climate Ponderings.
Florida’s coast is 1-4 degrees down on normal? Wow, if it was 1-4 degrees higher the AGWscaremongerClimate Changers would be all over it. TV and radio wouldn’t let you sleep without knowing.
It’s that much lower than normal and …?
Unfortunately, it’s not just the politicians that are dimwitted.
“Higher proportion attribute warmer temperatures to global warming than did in 2012
PRINCETON, NJ — Well under half of Americans (34%) think that temperatures in their local area have been warmer than usual this winter — compared with 79% who reported warmer temperatures last year. The rest say temperatures have been the same (45%) or colder than usual (19%). The majority of those who perceive warmer temperatures say the change is due to global warming, while last year the majority said it reflected normal variations.”

What is the difference between global warming and normal variations? I sure hope the poll was not that poorly worded….
Nope. No better.
“Due to global warming” or “Due to normal year-to-year variation”.
A & B. Global warming is one half of NV.
Steven:
If you could add a quick note on these types of figures stating what the anomaly is relative to (e.g. 1961-1990 average), that would be a big help. Thanks!
it’ll be interesting to sea how March pays out!
