Thomas Jefferson was a liberal. What we are dealing with is progressives, who have donned the sheep skin of liberalism. Liberals believe in liberty, the rule of law, and the sovereignty of the individual. Progressives believe in larger government, believe that people are expendable, and believe the ends justify the means.
gator69, I think an more apt way to say it is that progressives have “..donned the foreskin of liberalism.” That tells us what the liberals next have in mind for the sheep.
