The US Drought Monitor comes out today. Can’t wait to see what drought level we are at this week.
I heard there were two people killed. One body found in a river, and someone else but no details. I might be wrong.

who opened the can of dehydrated water?
It’s a phenomenon called Global Raining.
Drought Monitor….or shall we rename it to something more appropriate…
Reposted from earlier:
I was out on a call from 1 to 3 am. Water was running over Broadway in Boulder, many streets were flooded so deep I turned around. Broadway was closed at Linden—a rescue effort there. Listening to dispatch: Many canyon roads into the mountains closed at the mouth: Coal Creek, Boulder, Lefthand, Hwy 66 into Lyons, etc. Foothills Hwy flooded and closed south of Lefhand. US 36 closed from Lyons into Larimer County. A firefighter about 3 miles up Lefthand Canyon climbed a tree to escape estimated 15-20 ft wall of water (probably debris dam break). With the bottom of some mountain canyons and many low lying areas to the east impassable the dispatch is directing emergency crews around on drivable roads.
After break in the rain in Boulder the floods are subsiding in some parts of the city but heavy flows are coming out of the canyons.
That’s climate change that is. Can’t you see? From drought to flood overnight. That’s all you rich white guys and your SUV’s that did that.
(/sarc – just in case its needed…_)
Probably the wrong sort of rain to end a drought – too wet I expect.
If it’s still a drought, then it’s a dry rain.
It’s rotten thin rain from the rotten thin ice of the arctic. It doesn’t count and won’t stay around.
