Virginia had the fewest number of 90ºF readings since at least 1895 this summer. I was in DC on four different days this summer, and they were all cold.

Fortunately DC is still not in Virginia! We do not want the viper’s pit!
But yes, it was a lovely summer. Very wet and relatively mild. Not as bad as Gail Combs down in NC (wet wise), but the lawns are lush and green.
