Experts say that one billion climate refugees will flee to Antarctica in the next 15 years.
Climate change study predicts refugees fleeing into Antarctica – Telegraph

Summer temperatures are at their peak in Antarctica right now. A good time to move and avoid the rush.
Nah, Al Gore will move there and just ruin it for everyone.
I’ll chip in for air fare, as long as the passports are revoked…
I am baffled as to how all the ice is melting there when it is well below zero.
We did have the thick ice up here on my mountain melt recently but the temperatures went above freezing for that to happen.

Which has nothing to do with “Climate Change”.
Hmmm, what would be considered “prime real estate” in Antarctica? Since there are no cities per se nor streets I would guess it would be on somewhere in a valley or gorge or under some rock so one is sheltered from the nice pleasant breezes there. 100 mph winds are pretty common and they do get up 200 mph there. All the bone headed “researchers” that made that claim and anyone dumb enough to believe them should move immediately to the sea side properties where the breeze is the best.
The wind should be most excellent for their wind mills.
And don’t forget to buy property facing north, so that you get all the sunshine that you can!
Ah yes, the Lean green bullsh*t machine in full flow, again…
You’ve got to see this.

Ray Stevens has a lot more sense the cumulative found at the UN and GISS Earth Science Div.
I made hubby show that on his computer since my will not support video and has no sound.
I loved it.

Actually they said:
“Climate change will force refugees to move to Antarctica by 2030.” (So, > 1 refugee.)
“…will see the population of the continent increase to 3.5 million people by 2040.”
“1bn climate change refugees by 2050.”
Appreciate your work, but I’d like to think you’re statements, particularly headlines, are accurate as I point people to your site.
2030 – 2015 = 15 years. So “Climate change will force refugees to move to Antarctica ” in fifteen years is an accurate restatement of their position in the year 2015.
I guess the refugees will be the climate faithful seeking somewhere to practice their new religion; a bbit like the Pilgrim fathers. After all when the scam finally unravels and the general population see just how much time, money, energy, land and resources have been squandered, the AGW proponents (and their erstwhile political cheerleaders) will need somewhere to hide.
From the Telegraph article:
“Historians of the future may look back on these as the ‘climate change years’,” he said. “They will either look back on our generation as heroes or view us with incomprehension and disgust – as now we look back on those who allowed slavery.”
I’m pretty sure it will be incomprehension and disgust but not for the reasons Peter Madden thinks.
“Historians of the future may look back on these as the ‘climate change years. They will
either look back on our generation as heroes orview us with incomprehension and disgust – asnow we look back onthose whoallowed[promoted international] slavery.”There, now that reads correctly. Warmists are not known for their accuracy in print.
I’m not waiting for the views of the next generation – I already view climate-alarmist charlatans with incomprehension and disgust./i>.
That actually sums up my feelings nicely; wish I’d have thought of it!
Notice how the photograph is very misleading. It looks like there is only a thin layer of snow.
Here is the reality:
5 Amazing Antarctic Research Buildings “It’s not easy designing buildings for the harsh conditions of Antarctica: architects have to account for ever-piling snow, freezing cold, and violent winds. A new touring exhibition opening next week, Ice Lab: New Architecture and Science in Antarctica, highlights a few of the best solutions–some already operational, others coming soon.”
A station, scheduled to open in April 2014, is still under construction

Gusty winds accompanying the arctic outbreaks will produce much lower AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures. Because of this the air will be beyond painful, reaching dangerous and life-threatening levels in much of the Midwest and Northeast for those who spend a significant amount of time outdoors without proper protection.

Ren I kinda figured it was coming my way here in Indiana 27 mi NNE of Indy. It’s that time of year when one expects the dips in the jet stream to carry waves of cold air across the midwest and Ohio valley. Out west got theirs now we get ours and then I would not be surprised to see the east coast and NE get the trailing side of another one before the next cycle begins traversing west to east.
Why don’t all the immigrants from Muslim countries go there?
Great idea Jimmy. Lets pack up all the illegal immigrants and the immigrants raping young girls in the UK and ship them to the UN’s favorite location for the next decade. (Snicker)
We should demand that from Obama, Cameron and Abbott as well as other heads of state.
Save the UN! New York is a sinking ship, so let’s move the worlds most enlightened and important people first, while there is still time. The UN needs a new world (domination/order) headquarters where we can be safe. Have Chris Turney charter a ship and anchors aweigh my boy!
Now that is a really great idea. Also insist that ALL international conferences be held in the new Antarctica head quarters.
We should forward the ideas to Senator James Inhole.

After he put a large copy of this cover of the Weekly Standard up on the floor of Congress who knows what he might do with the suggestion. (Maybe a petition sent directly to him so he can present it?) He certainly would get a chuckle out of it.

But do it just before the Antarctic winter starts.
Forget the Antarctica invasion. Let the Aussies worry about it. We have a crisis brewing much closer to home:
Record sales, out of the gate, beating the contiguous 48? Allegedly healthy young males of the species are suddenly showing an unusual and higher than average caloric intake, as well as altered foraging patterns?
Climate science predicted such events decades ago. The foraging habitat could be affected by climate change. The males have to roam far and wide to find food and when they find it they gorge themselves. Do some of them pack more than they can eat on the spot? Are they taking it to their nesting females, who may be too emaciated to get up and pissed about the whole thing?
These males may be too distracted to resist encroachments of well-fed males across the Bering Strait. Will the troubled providers be coming back to their nests just to hear happy borscht-slurping and self-assured macho singing inside? What will they do, beat the interlopers with their buffalo wings doggie bags?

We have a nice mess on our hands and we urgently need Pentagon funding for climate research:
Who would like to co-author a Buffalo Wild Wings paper with me—using advanced Mannian statistical methods—complete with a hockey stick graph of the franchise sales showing a robust correlation with critical threshold values of atmospheric CO2?

You handle that one, I’ve got another closely related global warming crisis that demands my immediate attention, and lots of it. Apparently in Texas, it is the women who are being most effected. It is so hot (and brother how) that these poor servant girls are reduced to wearing next to nothing. With financial support, I fully intend to do whatever it takes to help these poor young lasses find comfort. Can’t you please send your support? I have my hands full.

Hmm maybe my son is a carrier. He learned the Bar and Restaurant business at Maggie Mays in Austin. Moved out of the house and started as a Bar Back there when I was still stationed at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio. Now he’s GM of at the BWs in Avon, IN over by the Indianapolis Airport. A store he opened new and helped design the interior layout for, and eventually was asked to become a Regional GM for the franchise but turned it down. His dream it to open his own place in western Montana.
Former Governor Sarah Palin might be open to the suggestion from Putin. At least he cares what happens to his people.
You really are a hoot Colorado! The military up there at Ft. Richardson (the largest Army facility in Alaska) and Elmendorf AFB apparently have tape worms. The link between Climate Change and Tape worms is what needs to be studied!

Does that mean we can have asbestos back again? Great for brakes and for fire proofing.
I bet the lawyers for fiber companies like Johns Mansville that made asbestos are all over it. Hell a person can’t sit down to watch TV for an evening without seeing commercials from ambulance chasers for “Mesothelioma” law suits as they scramble to get as much of the multi-billion dollar fund as possible (plus potential sucker litigants money) set up by the companies for such suits.
Johns Mansville was a decent company. Dad worked for them.
I did work for them at a couple plants in Defiance, OH where they produce fiberglass insulation. Plant 8 makes thermal and sound insulation for various car manufactures.
My favorite old ad I saw was for a mixture of pipe tobacco and asbestos.
not the ads I saw, but amusing:

I just ran across an interesting list: 46 statements by IPCC experts against the IPCC
Very rich and refreshing, Thank You Gail!

Grumpydenier has always had some great comments on Delingpole articles. Nice to see another useful blog.
Statements like those from reputable individuals need more light of day, and I sent that link to all of our Alaskan congressional leaders!
