Progressive newspapers like The Guardian publish pictures like this almost every week, purporting to show life-threatening pollution from electricity generation stations.
Then in the same issue, they promote electric cars (powered by the station above) as clean, green saviors of the environment.
And in the same issue, they promote this as being “green energy”
And in order to try to force their stupidity on other people, The Guardian is willing to publish blatantly fraudulent global warming articles from people like Dana Nuttercelli nearly every day.
It takes generations of hard work to create people this messed up.
It gets worse, the printing presses used to print that stuff once caught fire too.
All machines sometimes fail.
That’s exactly what the Guardian does. They don’t do fair, balanced or impartial.
It’s called propaganda.
It only takes one generation – when brain activity stops.
Unfortunately we somehow went from the Greatest Generation to the Stateist generation in three generations. The Greatest Generation was forged in the great depression and tempered by WW II and went on to make the most powerful and prosperous nation in human history. The Stateist generation was born into plenty and an age great promise because of the sacrifices and toil of the Greatest generation and like the spoiled children they were/are simply took and then demanded more and allowed the great promise and wealth to be squandered. There are only three reasons I hold out hope for this nation. Witnessing the great young men and women flock to the flag after 9/11 and then continue to do so after years of war and how they served with so much honor a bravery. And seeing the entrepreneurial spirit I do in so many places and so many faces of different heritage and backgrounds in my travels as a truck driver. And finally seeing so many fine qualities in my own Grandaughter. May she live well and prosper in a land of liberty.
The common thread is the role of government. It changed during the greatest generation, but they were raised not to rely on it. However, each success generation has come to rely on it more and more. the extent of the damage that FDR did is just now coming to fruition.
“The Greatest Generation was forged in the great depression and tempered by WW II and went on to make the most powerful and prosperous nation in human history.”
Sadly, many of the same things that made the USA so successful during WWII and so powerful in the immediate aftermath, are the same things that later led to our national death as a Constitutional Republic. No need to go into details. Anyone who remembers Eisenhower’s farewell speech can follow the sequence.
“It takes generations of hard work to create people this messed up.”
I disagree. It takes hard work and exposure to proper philosophy to save men from believing the most ridiculous of falsehoods. “The most costly of all follies is to believe passionately in the palpably not true. It is the chief occupation of mankind.” ~ H.L. Mencken
For example, these idiots think that they are “liberals” and yet the classical liberals believed the exact opposite of what these self-proclaimed “liberals” believe today.
See what the classical liberals believed here: http://mises.org/library/what-classical-liberalism
Those fools are better named “progressives” but even that is a problem since they are dead set against progress. They attack the western economies and technology at every opportunity: and they seemingly would like to see us all living a stone-age lifestyle. Can they be called “progressives”? They are collectivists who would like to see all of mankind (but not themselves) living in egalitarian misery.
As an aside, I posted on the Classical Liberal’s biggest mistake here: http://markstoval.wordpress.com/2015/01/04/the-classic-liberals-and-their-mistake/
The term ‘progressive’, is not about actual progress, but about progressing towards communism.
And here I thought it was about Progressing toward the New Serfdom or Neo-feudalism where the middle class has been made extinct much to the relief of the ruling elite who fear them.

She also gave this excellent speech to a TEA Party group.

At least some liberals have figured out it is not about treating people fairly but about enslaving them with their blind consent.
towards communism…or statism of most any form, the larger the better.
However there has been a multi-generational effort as I have learned by reading about the system of government schooling that has spread around the world since the Prussians first created a system that produces fungible human resources. (see John Taylor Gatto’s work as well as “The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America”)
Or Dumbing Down America by Dr. Samuel Blumenfeld
My personal favorite is when the local paper shows “black” clouds of pollution rising when in fact, it is just a photo of condensation taken with the sun behind the cloud.
You have to break a few eggs to fundamentally change the United States……….http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TGLC59rCCDc
“It takes generations of hard work to create people this messed up.” Yes, the process of “demoralization” as outlined by Yuri Bezmenov (ex-KGB) many years ago.

Kent Clizbe also covered it in his book Willing Accomplices: How KGB Covert Influence Agents Created Political Correctness and Destroyed America from the point of view of a CIA operative.
Reblogged this on Climatism.
Here is another example of a catastrophic failure of wind energy …
http://tallbloke.wordpress.com/2015/01/03/80m-wind-turbine-in-co-tyrone-another-catastrophic-failure/
That same Guardian article gives the number of electric vehicles sold last year was 1200 out of 2.45m. Almost .05% of the market. That is ahead of Rolls-Royce in volume (from $310,000) but behind Bentley (from $210,000).
In the UK buyers get a £5000 ($7800) subsidy on purchase, but still on the most popular model a purchaser would be about £5000 worse off over three years than buying a similar-sized Ford. What is more, an electric car has limited range, so for most families would only be a second car. With costs similar to a baby Merc, BMW or Audi, most people are being sensible and avoiding the things.
